Gill and I played at Pelican in 2011. we were across on the west coast for a conference and some meetings, and took some time to see the area.

The course is great, and the set up including club house etc really fantastic. Classic big bucks real estate venture. I loved it. We played the Ocean North Course which has spectacular views.
We stayed at the Hyatt at Huntington beach. Nice hotel: one slight problem. The beach views rooms do look onto the beach, but there’s a highway between you and it.
