Our dear friends Clarke and Trish B have a house at Windsor, a superb community of luxury homes about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Orlando airport on the east coast of Florida. We have been fortunate to be guests of the B’s a few times, and that means golf, croquet, bike rides and too much wine and dinners!

Sometimes the golf became secondary...
We were fortunate to be invited again in February of 2020. The B’s have a new home - utterly magnificent - and the golf course was completely renovated. I played terribly day one, not helped by cold and driving winds, but things got progressively better as the weekend went on. The course is now playing easier. The slope is 122, which may reflect the age and ability of the residents. I think this makes total sense: why build a 7,500 yard, 145 slope course where no-one can enjoy themselves.
